he never had one from his hometown the first time he went. Only the one from Tangier. So NOW they want one from his hometown. Makes no sense to me, why don't they post stuff like that in the papers they send you? Anyway, he will get it done and hope in a hurry too.

he sound very close , but u didn't answer my question , asi told you i had the interview in the same day too , and they never bother tell me anything , i just want to know what the steps and move u did while u were waiting with you fiance , because our lawyer seems can do nothing about our case only waiting , the congresswoman sent 2 letters and she is really pissed off because they didnt answer her and the funny they did answer our lawyer every time and the last update they said waiting for final AP before it can be sent to usa , why this sound like BAD , but i noticed they told ur fiance the same thing , all what i needf to know is , what exactly the moves u have done , thanks in advance

Salshi- What does your 221g say exactly?

it says returned to USCIS but when email us they didnt send it back yet and they said The case is still pending final administrative processing in Casablanca

Well it can be a 221g that says your case is pending AP in Washington DC or it can say you were denied and the case was sent back to USCIS with the intent to deny. Which one is it? What does the paper say?

Ok, is it possible for you to type exactly what is written on the paper they gave you? This is very important to have the exact wording. Can you copy what it says?

It doesnt say with intent to deny it says (for review) speaking of our returned 221g and now in speaking to calif they will tell you it wasnt denied but expired

Well whatever the wording is, I think we need to know exactly what his says, because it sounds like it was sent back to USCIS.

Ok well unfortunately your case was sent back to the US and your visa is not being issued at this time. They sent your case back to be reviewed by USCIS. I would contact your senators and congressmen immediately and get some good advice from some of the people here who have been denied. I'm not sure about the specifics but I think you have to file again (someone correct me if I'm wrong, which I probably am) because your petition will expire. You will eventually have a second interview in Casa once your petition is reaffirmed in the US. This can take a year or so for the petition to be reaffirmed and for Casa to receive the case. I'm sorry abuot this news, and good luck.

Who have you contacted so far and what did they tell you? You should post a picture of your 221g in the "petitions returned to USCIS" at the top of the page and someone can help you better there.

Salshi: post your 221g here:

Salshi -- this is definitely a returned case. The consulate has sent your case back to USCIS, with "intent to deny." It's unlikely that the consulate will respond to further inquiries, even from your congress reps -- instead they will refer you to USCIS. And USCIS will just let your petition expire.

Sarah and Hicham is giving you very good advice -- go to the thread pinned at the top of this forum called "Returning Petitions to the United States via 221g" -- here is the link:

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=3896

It is a long thread, but there is some very good advice in there on what you and your fiancee should do next. You *can* get through this, although you will certainly be facing a delay. Does your fiancee come to this forum ? It would be best if she reads through the long thread.

Good luck to you both in overcoming this obstacle.
