Finally, after 2o mths we have our AOS interview!

I could hardly believe it when I opened the envelope!! :dance:

Our date was Aug 2004, we have our interview on June 12th. :dance::dance::dance:

It will be 2 weeks before our 2 year wedding anniversary - so I am wondering if they will give a 2 year or 10year card - what do you think? :whistle:

Just so excited though - it seemed like this day would never come!! :yes:

Wanted to encourage those of you who are also going through the slow Orlando office

Congratulations!

I believe if the date of your interview is under 2 years from the date you submitted your AOS application, they will give your a 2 year CPR. I may be wrong about this. Hopefully you'll get the 10!

Congratulations on the interview.

From my understanding, if you have your AOS interview before your second wedding nniversary - even by one day - then you get the 2 year conditional green card, and if you have the AOS interview after your second wedding anniversary, you qualify for the 10 year green card. The 'magic' number is the date on which you have been married for two years.
