Hello all,

I submitted my I-130 back in but didn't get any receipt also there wasn't any update from the bank either regarding the check therefore I sent another set of I-130 in october and then I finally at the end of december as a new year gift i received NOA1 (for the one I submitted in august) even though I cancelled the check, which I sent with this application but still I got the receipt saying that they have cahsed it.

Last week I received another NOA1 (for the one I submitted in october), now i have 2 different receipt numbers and I don't know what to do.

Can anybody share his/her experience of getting 2 different receipts (2 different receipt numbers) and then what he/she did to resolve that issue?

I started my case as K3 but USCIS delayed in approving I-129F, and now my case is processing as IR-1/CR-1 at NVC.

Hi, accordning to your timeline you have submitted two petitions I-130 and I-129f. So you have to have two NOA1. To get K-3 you have to have both petitions approved.

I received an invoice from uscis asking to pay for the 1st submitted i-130 case with the penalty, and if I won't pay it within 2 weeks then they will charge me more on that

I contacted them and asked them to xfer the fees from 2nd submitted i-130 case, and then close the 2nd case, as considering a duplicate case, the immigration officer (nice person) is going to discuss that with her supervisor and will let me know what uscis can do to resolve this issue  ...
