Hello All! Being that my fiancee is from South Africa, I was wonderin if anyone knew of any websites where I can order products of South Africa like chutney and pap and things of that nature.

Google is your friend You may be able to find vendors online.

Are there any African food stores in your neighborhood (or close by)? They may carry what you are looking for, or know where you can get what you want. Also, in my experience, I have found a lot of Chinese, Indian and Arab food stores carry some goods from Africa so you may want to look there too.

While I was living in the States, my fiance and I would frequent "Liquor Barn". They carry many South African goodies eg. wines, cooldrinks, and my favorite .....BOVRIL, Provitas, and Safari dried fruit

My buddy at work (who happens to be South African) turned me on to this website http://www.southafricanfoodshop.com/ He says their biltong is YUM!

Him and I are kind of lucky because the shop is located in Charlotte, NC which is less than a two hour drive for us I've not shopped there yet myself because I stocked up on chutney last time I was visiting my wife, but plan to go pick some stuff up when it comes closer to time for my wife and stepson to arrive here.

I'm assuming the store is run by South Africans so look forward to visiting the shop with the whole family, I'm sure Leslie will enjoy chatting with some fellow SA folks

In Denver there is a store called Cost Plus that carries food from all over the world, including SA products like Mrs. Balls Chutney. Not sure if they're a chain or not...

I believe I am going to be in a similar position in a couple of months - I will be in California! My husband is already checking out the stores and doing searches for stores carrying SA products. Strange how everyone mentions Mrs Ball's Chutney - my hubby is nuts about is too; and the curries I make, the Provitas which both of us enjoy and the dried fruit!

I can wait for my South African beauty to come over and cook us up some proper south african cuisine!!!!! I am going to stock up on chutney and pap and all that good stuff before she gets here. The only thing I cant find is Cross and Blackwell's tangy mayo. Any ideas?

Have her bring some with her. I'll be heading back to the states in April. Let me know if you'de like me to bring some over and send it to you.
