Does anyone have an estimate on how long it takes for your file to be complete at NVC? Assuming you return the paperwork very promptly.

I'm trying to estimate when our inteview will be. The average times on the timelines are very sided. I know for mexico that were completed in September/October are receiving their interviews. So right now it looks like 4 to 5 months after completed at NVC.

And correct me if I'm wrong, but estimate 2 weeks (give or take, I read its been a bit slower the last couple of weeks) for NVC to receive it from USCIS???

About 3 months. Longer if you're behind on getting the documents they request.

right now it seems the average wait at nvc is 2 months (after it is entered) maybe shorter if you use the shortcuts, then 1 more month to wait for interview. all depends how fast you get the paperwork back. and what part of the month it is completed. I e-mailed the DS-3032 and got the acceptance the next day . really surprised. usually takes 4-5 days. hope the rest goes fast. when did you file?

I had all the documents ready and didn't delay on returning them.

I would know when they sent them and get everything ready and literally I would mail it right back and it took 6 months until the interview date.

My paperwork was transferred from USCIS on June 14 and my case was completed on December 4th 2007. I was given an interview date for February so it's even longer than that until the interview date.

All cases are different though and depends on who is reviewing your case.

Good luck :)
