He's a kid, but even so, I like sensitivity in the male population. More like passion for the love of music then anything else, but that's my perception of it.

He's a kid, but even so, I like sensitivity in the male population. More like passion for the love of music then anything else, but that's my perception of it.

Just to add since I can't edit, Cook was the first one to shed tears, and I really responded to that. It was the first time I could relate to him.

I didn't like the song, he could've done better, but he's great.

We have NO idea about the emotional stuff that they go through. I was raised to be a singer, which might be why I "get it" (not tootin my own horn) but I totally understand where they are coming from.

I really think David A took this.

Ok I really like David Cook but I think David A totally won tonight. Vocally he was just better. I don't mind their emotions, I like it.

It is interesting the differences of opinion. I actually think that David A has a better voice, but then again how can you compare them considering their different styles? I will be happy if either of them win to be honest.

Well, that the thing with judging talent. Its very subjective. I generally don't go for schmaltzy ballads, but the real turn-off for me is all the runs that Archie uses. The amount of runs in his singing rivals a person with a severe case of Montezuma's Revenge!

Yes, I think this is key. The music style has so much to do with it. I've always been a fan of R&B music (and ballads!), and the runs impress me - I think it takes a lot of vocal control. I've heard others say that he's ruined the songs he's sung because of them - I think he's made them better!

I see a David A album being much like the Clay Aiken debut album (someone made a reference to Clay earlier) slow, ballads etc etc. I see David C putting out a more Daughtry like album. And given those similarities, I see myself buying and enjoying a David C album over a David A album.

I see David A winning.

I don't doubt that they have a ton of emotions running through them. I don't blame them. I was just making a comment because neither of them really showed much of it until tonight, I guess being the finals and all, they realize what is at stake.

Anyways, I wasn't saying it was a bad thing. Just making an observation.
