Jason totally should've gone. Randy was right, it was a train wreck. Brooke probably got a huge sympathy vote, though.

I was hoping for the final 3 to be David Cook, Carly, and Syesha. :(

I was never a big Carly fan, but sending her home tonight was total BS.

Jason or Brooke should have went IMO.

This was totally jacked!! Carly is much more talented than Jason, Brooke, and yes even Sayesha. Jason seriously, if it weren't for all of those stupid teenage girls that are deaf, he would be so gone a long time ago. He seriously has no talent except for sitting at the beach with his bong and guitar. And now, thanks to sympathy votes, we have to look at Brooke's pouty face as the judges once again have to tell her that she sucks. Seriously, who is voting for these 2?

I also like Jason. :P I like all of them pretty much right now. Syesha is my least fav though.

I am too. I can see Jason, Brooke, and David C. on the cover of an album. I can see them performing concerts and being popular.

I cannot see that with the rest. Syesha seems like Broadway actress or a journalist to me. And David A. seems like a Christian Rock singer. *shrug*

The public also spoke when Taylor Hicks won. He pretty much crashed and burned thanks to lack of public interest in his album.

Oh well. What are you gonna do?

*not what are YOU gonna do, but what's the alternative?

And anyway, I was pretty much just responding to the name-calling of the fanbases of certain contestants that one does not like. I just don't think it needs to be taken so seriously. I remember back in Taylor's season things got way too heated for an AI thread and people just got really pissed and nasty about it all.

Believe me, I am completely chill about this! Its not like my life is gonna change based on who wins this thing. :lol:

And I know what you were getting at. I was merely making an observation regarding the "decision" of the public. What seems great during the season doesn't always translate well on the charts, was all I meant.

I'm still fully convinced that the only reason Taylor won is because Simon said that America would never vote him an American Idol during his audition. Americans are rebels at heart.

Of course, I have a lot of half-baked theories.
