I don't know why in the world Kristy is still in. She is so awkward and has been in the bottom 3 how often ... 4 times?

She's my sister's favorite. She's 10 years old and votes for whomever she thinks is the "prettiest" (that means the blondest until there are no blonds left). She's holding out hope that Kristy Lee is the 2nd coming of Kellie Pickler.

Jenn....IT"S A SINGING COMPETITION...tell your sister that. LOOKS DON"T MATTER, ok?

Removal of Conditions Timeline:

03/19/2008 - package sent to TSC, let's hope for the best

04/17/2008 - Biometrics scheduled

05/19/2008 - received I551 extension stamp via INFOPASS

Oh she'll insist that she's the best singer as well. She doesn't understand her subconscious yet, LOL.

It's not a singing competition, despite what some of the judges sometimes say. It's a competition to find the next American Idol.

A pop star has to be able to attract a fan base. That means being able to sing well, sure, but it also means being able to put together the rest of the whole pop star package. And it definitely means appealing to the ten year old little sisters of the world.

How many ugly pop music idols do you know of? Even before MTV, pop star singers were typically prettier than average, but after MTV, an ugly singer hasn't got a chance. The people who have their faces on the covers of CDs are prettier, on average, than the people I see in person at my local shopping mall.

so heres a question,

who defines beauty then? where do i base my reasoning to what is beautiful and to what is ugly? which theory? should i define beauty to the beholder or should i base it to the magazine and to the billboards that a "certain" person defines it for me?

i know it sound so very confusing but somehow pop culture is being set to a standard on what is beautiful and what is not. who are these people? that brainwashing the young generation to believe in them? even myself has been brainwashed. lol...

just a thought...

no wonder minorities tend to strive hard to be somebody they're not (trying to make their eyes bigger, or have a whiter skin, or dye their hair blondes)... gosh i hate this person whoever made this standard. lol

Yes: Syesha Mercado, Brooke White Michael Johns,

Nice: Chikezie, David Cook, Kristy Lee Cook (reluctant but I give props where props are due)

OK: Jason Castro, Carly Smithson, David Archuleta, Ramiele Malubay

I must say that my biggest disappointment is Ramiele. She has a really big voice but the songs she sings are kind of....meh.

David Cook. Oh. My. God.

I hated him at the start of this season, but he's just gotten better and better. This week Syesha blew the other 8 out of the water ... then David Cook blew Syesha out of the water.

I'm hoping it comes down to David C. vs. either Syesha or Carly.
