I was quite enjoying, for the most part, last night's AI. Looking forward to David A. and after he faltered with his opening and then a couple of lines in, I turned the channel and walked away. Kind of like watching a skating competition - once they fall, you just can't watch. I'm sure he's safe because I'd like to see him dust himself off after this and come back strong. Chikezie wow'd me, he really wow'd me.

All I can say is ####### was going through Kristy Lee Cook's mind when she decided to make a Beatles song sound like we were at a freaking hoedown. It was one of the most appalling things I have ever heard on Idol. She had better go home for BUTCHERING that song. I don't think I could take another week of her :dead:

BYEBYE KRISTY! That was horrible and she's boring anyway.

I loved Brooke White, David Cook, Amanda Overmeyer, and Michael Johns.

The rest were good but not great....

and David Archuleta and Kristy sucked!!!

she sounded like she was trying to go for a 'hayseed dixie' type sound

I just wanted to get up and do a little jig. I could practically smell the hay and the horses.

I'm really irritated by Ryan's attempts to mitigate the judges' criticism by making asinine statements like, "So you're saying that she did a good job, but you didn't like the song?" No, Ryan, they're saying exactly what they already said, we don't need a summary. And then his feeble defense of Kristy Lee, "but but but, you guys TOLD her she should do country and she did and now you told her it was bad!"

And then his weirdness with Chikezie....

I just really don't like Ryan Seacrest!
