OK, it is just me or does anyone else think Amanda Overmyer is scary? I've never been too keen on the way her hair is streaked but tonight it just looked really freaky.

She is scary. Her hair reminds me of a lion's mane.

I missed the first 2 contestants, but so far my favorite for tonight is Kristy Lee Cook. She was hot! (both physical presence and singing)

I liked Brooke White, Syesha Mercado and Carly Smithson. I hope Amanda goes but I wonder if anyone else here thought it looks like a wig?

Here is how I ranked the girls:

1. Brooke White (loved her song)

2. Carly Smithson (much better than last week)

3. Syesha Mercado (I love her voice but her performance was not that great)

4. Ramielle Malubay (not great...but I like her)

5. Alaina Whitaker (I liked her singing the song, but no "wow" factor)

6. Kristy Lee Cook (ok...nothing to write home about)

7. Asia'h Epperson (I like her, but bad song choice)

8. Kady Malloy (did not like it at all)

9. Alexandrea Lushington (not impressed)

10. Amanda Overmeyer (scary performance, scary hair, scary overall)

1. Carly Smithson. We both love Heart and she did it justice, nuff said.

2. Alexandrea Lushington. Still really like her even though she picked one of the worst songs imaginable

3. Ramielle Malubay. It really does make a difference if you like the song. Unlike, the judges, I think that song is great.

4. Brooke White. She has performance and personality, but I don't think she has the voice.

5. Syesha Mercado. Forgettable performance. I don't think I'd heard the song before.

6. Kristy Lee Cook. Pretty good singing, but her pronunciation was awful. It's not "Yer no good".

7. Asia'h Epperson. So so

8. Amanda Overmeyer. Not a good night for her. I still have hope.

9. Alaina Whitaker. Meh. Simon was right about being pageanty. That song is too cliche.

10. Kady Malloy. God she butchered a Heart song. That should be a crime.

Tonight I liked Carly and Brooke the best ... I still have hopes for Amanda because I like the idea of a rock chick in there, but she really did horribly tonight. I would rather see her on the guys night ... she would probably do better competing against Robbie Carrico for the title of True Rocker
