That Dial Idol just reminded me of that ridiculous performance by Garrett Haley. What the hell is he doing in this competition???? He seriously cannot sing. Though, I really loved how you could clearly see his ####### stash in the closeups of his face.

Also completely terrible:

Jason Yeager - What a yawn of a performance.

Luke Menard - Huh? Was that really a man singing???

Colton Berry - Dude, that is not actually a smiley, bouncy song. Um, learn to brood.

Chikezie Eze - Simon was right about your suit, pal. Hideous! And your performance lacked everything. BOO!

I like those choices, too. I think I hyped myself up too much. I was so looking forward to last night and I was so let down. Nothing much memorable. The memories of Season 5 are engraved in my brain - Chris Daughtry, Eliott Yamin, Taylor Hicks, Katharine McPhee along with a touch of Bucky Covington, Kelly Pickler & "Ace" Young. There were some memorable performances. My anticipation will build for tonight's performances. Here's hoping

I heard "Happy Together" on the radio today and I was thinking what a great song it is. I'm glad that David Cook sang it. However, I do believe there's a similar cover already made (not sure of the band), so the originality wasn't as great as the judges made it seem, IMO.

I thought Chikeze was terrible (song choice, song choice, song choice!), and David Hernandez was pretty decent.

I couldnt agree with you more about Chikeze, I only wished I had watched Idol after TIVOing it so that I could fast forward through that performance!

That boy David Archuleta definitely has THE voice!

He's so cute I just wanna hug him and squeeze him! He reminds me of my little brother, actually.

That's exactly how I feel when I see him too!

Other than that, I still LOVE Michael Johns and David Archuleta. The only other two that took me by surprise last night was David Cook and the dread lock guy. I would really love it if the American Idol this year turns out to be a rocker, that would be so great!

Oh and I tried voting for Michael Johns for 2 hours last night and couldnt get through! I'm pretty sure he made it into the top 6!
