Hi guys, I am down 1.5lbs and I am pmsing. My eating has been great. I have stuck to my goal of no meats and no white carbs and I am really proud of that. I just haven't had the exercising thing going good yet. I am going to aim for tomorrow morning for a good workout. Congrats on the weight loss so far!:dance:

I really believe that this is going to work! Lets go!

The best way of life by Dr. Green

1. get moving/ exercise 4-5 days a week for at least 30 mins

2. stop eating 2 hours before bed

3. no alcohol

4. weigh yourself and then put the scale away for about a week

5. Eat a health breakfast

6. No white carbs

7. no fried foods

8. 1% milk or skim milk only

9. 2 fruits a day

10. limit your sugar intake significantly, no diet sodas or diet drinks

I hear you on the craving carbs thing. Sugar and carbs are very addictive. I was craving for about a week, and fought it. Now, I don't have the cravings anymore. They are just like a drug. I think I've finally kicked the habit. I don't eat any bread or pasta now. Which really limits my diet, but it's working. Are any of you familiar with The pH Miracle? It's a book that discusses our need to eat more alkaline foods rather than acidic foods to maintain a healthy body. It is very interesting, and I tend to agree with most of it. I have incorporated alot of it into my eating habits. Here is alog of helpful information.

Alkaline eating

Yesterday we had the Battle of the Bands here in Atl. I took my daughter, and was gone most of the day. I ate a bowl of cereal, a bananna, and applesauce in the morning. I didn't expect to be out all day, but the event went on until about 6:30pm. I didn't want to eat there, because there were no healthy choices, and by the time we got home it was 7pm. I don't eat after 7 so I just drank a fruit smoothie and went to sleep so I wouldn't think about being hungry. I got up this morning and weighed myself just to see what impact eating only 800 calories for the day would have..... I lost a pound in just that one day!!!:dance::dance:
