"What are you guys weighting for"...This say we should list five reasons why we want to change"

My five are:

1. HTN an DM run in my family and If I don't lose, I'll end up like my grandmother, mother and my father.

2. I need new clothing and I can't stand to try on "fat girl clothes and anymore"

3. Wanting to be a happier healthier sexier me.

4. With my hubbies hopes of having another baby, I have to lose 30 pounds by summer, before I even think about conceiving

5.Hoping to be able to possibly get into the Airforce.

what are HTN and DM? I feel like I should know but it isn't coming to me.

My five are...

1. I want to have more self confidence and a better self image.

2. I hope to alleviate some of this back pain that I am sure the extra weight is contributing too.

3. I want to have more energy to do things.

4. I don't want to be at risk for weight related problems.

5. I want to take up a hobby like hiking or running and need to be in better shape to fully enjoy it.

Thanks for the clarification, I was wondering what the acronyms meant as well.

I will have to say that my 5 reasons are very similar to Dee.

1. High Blood pressure, Diabetes and cancer runs in my family - I want to lower my risk for health-related problems

2. I want to be healthier when I get pregnant (I saw that news story)

3. I am tired of being out of breath when I kick it up a notch to get to my car (like today)

4. I want to have a better self image and greater self confidence - I want to look better in my clothes

5. Improved sex life!!!!

Are you eating less as well? I listenin to Steve. H one morning and the comedian Samore had me rollin when she seh, tight fat is what you get when you wuk out but not health healthy.....It was funny at the time.

I love Steve Harvey...Samore is my favorite comedien.

That's my biggest problem...eating habits. I try drinking plent of water, cut out fried foods and sugar but it's been a struggle. I have to do better in that department.

Ok, so I have yet to weigh myself, but nuh worry mi soon put it on. Some good news, I had a pair of pants that were stifling -- I put them on this morning and they fit so well, they were almost too roomy :lol:

Hay, hay....Way to go.

I have to weight in the morning and Aunt flow is visiting and she's known to make me gain bout 3-5pounds in water weight alone. I don't feel it like I usually do..so we'll see.

Tonks...That scale was a lie ...I feel like I've lost about 5lbs as hard as I worked this week. Mi nah fret tho....mi hubby seh me already look too likkle. I got a really good abs work out in yoga yesterday and in my exercise class. I can really feel it.
