Actually as soon as I posted that I thought maybe it was not the best answer, realizing it's a K1, but really, it *IS* proof of your ongoing relationship! LOL

CBR, my guess is your letter is fine. MTL must be aware that since they take forever (or have, in the past) to dole out interviews, some docs must end up being a couple months old.

And get this, my lawyer is actually telling us we need to wait until we have all docs before we send back our checklist. I'm having email arguments with her back & forth. Whatever. We're sending that checklist tomorrow.

I am so stressed today.

I would be stressed too! Stupid lawyer . Why is she insisting on having all the docs with the checklist but she must have sent those DS forms alone right? Good for you sending it tomorrow anyway...I would too!

She told me:

"I know of one applicant who was given a very hard time at his interview because a couple of the documents were dated after he had signed the checklist."

I told her I am aware of plenty of other couples who send the checklist in first, while they obtain the rest of the documents.

So I am insisting that it be mailed, end of story. That with the other forms from before and a spiffy cover letter saying that they should honor our March 14 deliver date. I think they should -- I mean, the instructions in P3 *do* actually say to send the checklist back once all those documents have been gotten, so we can't be the only couple who's sent it in later. Of course I don't expect much from Montreal right now, since they are completely ignoring us, but it can't hurt to ask them to do the right thing.

Well we are going to send the stuff Friday, since she is sending Scott the DS forms again (he hadn't made copies) tonight and I want everything together.

And to Julez, StP, and mox: I have no idea what you guys are talking about, but you're still very entertaining!

Huh. I never thought of that before. I've certainly not read of it happening, but it seems likely. You've got all the right ingredients here on VJ: love, longing, drama, pent-up frustrations, the wuv emoticon...all that's missing is Barry White.

Go to wherever you rent DVD's and rent the first couple Firefly DVD's. Be prepared to not get anything done for the rest of the weekend except returning the first 2 and renting the next ones. I know people who hate SciFi that went out and just bought the boxed set after watching the first DVD. It's simply one of the best TV series ever, and it was canceled after one season.

I know people who hate SciFi that went out and just bought the boxed set after watching the first DVD. It's simply one of the best TV series ever, and it was canceled after one season.

All my local rental places closed down. Damn Netflix (which I don't belong to).

I cannot believe you guys have never had smores!! Did you never go camping as children? Course now there are restaurants that serve them, little blue flame and all.

Or you can just put a big marshmallow in the microwave and watch it explode. That's fun too.

maybe I'll tell you some stories about sharks... or huge spiders...

I have to say, hand on heart, that mox only speaks truth about Firefly... just simply one of the best shows EVER, and due to a tragic lack of vision by Fox, cancelled before the end of its first season

however, there was a semi-happy ending, which was NOT expected - the film Serenity was made a couple of years later, and while not a substitute for all the episodes we missed, still neatly ties up some loose ends and gives us a little more than we had before

(forget hiring one disc though... just get the box set; you won't regret it )

Yeah - camping for us meant playing scrabble and going on day trips to the beach It's very rare here in the UK that you can find places that will let you have campfires as well - barbeques are ok but fires tend to be a big no no unless there are designated fire pits... I have seen those maybe once...

well, I don't know that I can answer that question; with both the medical and the interview I had the earliest slot available, so my medical took less than two hours (mainly waiting about, and the guy had to re-do the x-ray because he said the first was unclear) and my interview took ninety minutes

you can read the medical reviews for a blow-by-blow account... it's really not that scary, specially when you know what to expect

Yay! NOA soon then!! Woohoo!! I can update the spreadsheet some more!! Oh - anyone not on the AOS sheet who wants to be had better tell me - I keep meaning to try and find active people on this thread but I end up having to do PAID work

Oh - and I just spoke to my doctor and she has written me a letter about my depression to take to my medical!! YAY!!! I can pick it up tomorrow - I just have to pay for it
