Awww Marta, those are such lovely pictures!! I love the profile ultrasound pics, though it scares me that you can see the spine and skull and all. It makes me think how delicate those poor little things are!

Ok so not all of us have made it yet... In fact we are waiting on the first of our July veterans to cross the pond on Thursday (17th if I am correct!). But this is where it's at!!

Obviously we have all moved at different speeds throughout the process, with different service centres processing cases, RFEs, delayed processing times, difference in embassy efficiency... We are such a huge group and get on so well though that it would be a pity to lose touch as we join our respective AOS threads etc...

Instead of clogging up the K-1 forum (as by the time this gets really underway we won't be K-1ers anymore!!) I thought that a move to a cosy place where we can vent, share our experiences and support each other through the next steps of our journey was in order

So pull up a bean bag and let rip! Let us know how you're settling in, how AOS is treating you and anything else - you know what we're like!! We don't shut up!!

Ok - I'll stop ranting about this now

and I think we're ALL fragile like that, Poiteen... it's amazing how robust we can be, when you stop to think about it

and babies are more bendable than anyone; they can do all sorts of things and not hurt themselves

Hi guys. It's been a long time since I posted in here. Brian got his visa on April 30th. When he'd returned from his interview in London, his mum took a turn for the worse and passed away on May 19th. We've sort of been dealing with all the fallout from that. Tomorrow we will buy him a ticket to come here, most likely September-ish so he can bring the cat. We'll get married asap and have a formal party later. I'm very very tired.

Aww I am so sorry to hear that As for the cat - you can read my experience with Air France in the sticky pet thread in the UK forum - you might not have to wait til September if you want to be together sooner

OH MARTA!! They are sooo gorgeous! I never know what to say when people show scans and you can't make out what it is but it has a tiny little head and everything - does it feel weird to have something growing inside you like that?!!?!?

Ahhh - ok I need to write a really comprehensive POE review (cause I am too picky to settle for anything less) but I have 100 e-mails to check!!! Ahhhh!!! It was so peaceful without the net but I did miss you guys

Well the quality of the pics isn´t too good cuz it´s a small resolution scan, but yeah sometimes on ultrasounds you can barely see a thing...that depends how far along the lady is. Sometimes they go to have it done too early so the baby is too tiny. But our baby is already 8cm and we could see so much stuff it was doing
