It's great - very tongue in cheek

Ok - bedtime for me - I am leaving my puter on all night in my age old tradition of tracking Jeremy's flight, so I can see where he is if I wake up :)

Is there something about the 90 day mark I don´t know?

This is on the I-765 instructions;

If you have not received a decision within 90 days of receipt by USCIS of a properly filed EAD application or within 30 days of a properly filed initial EAD application based on an asylum application filed on or after January 4, 1995, you may obtain interim work authorization by appearing in person at your local USCIS District Office. You must bring proof of identity and any notices that you have received from USCIS in connection with your application for employment authorization.

Ok - bedtime for me - I am leaving my puter on all night in my age old tradition of tracking Jeremy's flight, so I can see where he is if I wake up :)

Nighty night. Have fun tomorrow. ;)

Hi everyone!

Just a quick pop in. Scott is here. We have been insanely busy. I'm not exactly sure why I chose to move him down, get married, and file for his green card all in the same week! So we are running around taking care of tons of details, but it's good.

I also posted this thread last night, if any of you have any thoughts, I would love to hear them:

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=134102

Aly, very excited for you today too!

Marta, I really hope you hear something on your AOS stuff. I believe you'll be fine to travel in 2 months, but it must be stressful when the average on VJ is around 60 days and you are quite over that. I hope that doesn't happen to us, as Scott is supposed to be best man in a wedding in early October. I really hope you hear something soon.

Okay, off to take care of a million more things...

Rachel I posted a reply in that post about the work authorized stamp. We got one at port Huron without asking. Kinda interesting. Jeremy is going to try to get work at a temp agency to start off so that he can stop working when it expires & start back up when EAD comes.

I can't believe you're getting all that stuff done in one week!! I hope it all goes well for you.

3/5/11 sent LOC paperwork

I know how I felt with the flying. I had a homesick day yesterday but on the whole things are good. AOS paperwork nearly complete, just waiting on joint sponsor getting forms to me. Should be ready to mail in about a week. I'm feelong weirdly zen about everything just now.

Weirdly ZEN?! Is this the Debz we know and love?!?!?!? :o

Maybe there is hope for me yet

good luck...the second part doesn't seem to be as painful as the k1....

Ok, so I tried posting this in OT, but not many responses. I'll try it here since so many of us are in the same boat.

How many are getting married this summer? I know Aly is 08-08 and I'm 08-01 and Rae is THIS WEEK!!!! (wow).

I sat around in my wedding dress last night like an eejit. It was fun :)

hey guys, just checking in here after the move...

congrats to rae as i believe she and scott were married today!! yayyy :dance:

aly, good luck with getting things sorted out before the move...if it makes you feel any better, i think you are doing just swell

hows the baby action marta? any movement in there? it must feel weird to have a little thing lodging inside of you like that

you might have guessed from my immature comment, but we wont be having any kids for a good while :D

we are here in indiana now and adriano officially hates it...he is the king of premature judgments though, so i know he will come around to it soon enough....anytime he arrives somewhere new, he instantly claims that he hates it and wants to go home, kind of like a little kid i guess...he starts english classes again on monday, so hopefully that helps him with the adjusting a bit...im not super thrilled either, but i am excited to get back to my studies and what not...the apartment is absolutely beautiful, everything is newly renovated and its spacious, and cheap!! we dont have enough things to fill it just yet though :P something else exciting is that we bought a car with some of our wedding gift monies

so that's that...im missing ny a bit, but trying not to think about it too much...oh the culture, oh the excitement of the big city!!!

we have corn and cows here <_<

sigh

Susie, I missed you, so good to see you back! Congrats on the wedding and the move.

When do we get to see pics? :D

Ohhh Susie!! I am so behind things here that I have no idea who is doing what and when and whatnot! Things have been a little crazy here - had my last day of work yesterday and have to call shipping companies today as well as pack up the rest of my things >< I'm getting there but it is a slow process.

Feeling a little more chilled about things but still nervous - it peaks and troughs but having Jeremy here really helps - it's like even though I am moving away from almost everything I know, at least I have him by my side so it isn't so bad :luv:

I think I am going to need a grand overview when I move of what has been going on with everyone!!!
