Aww - I am so excited for you Marta!!! The only thing I worry about is how I will cope when I am pregnant - I keep worrying that I will worry when I am pregnant - which is a totally pointless exercise but still!!

I want a preggers ticker!! Oh! And let me know if I should add any other stages into the preggers spreadsheet marta :D

Made another £35 profit at a car boot sale today - still can't believe I am moving in three weeks but damn am I looking forward to just getting past this part of it all - I am soooo fed up now ><

Conratulations Marta!!!

And Ally, you're getting married a week before me :) On P's birthday too.....

And one more thing: I can't wait to have a baby with P!!! We have two kids (mine from before, but they're "his" now too) and we'd like to wait at least a year, but I'm looking forward to it.

tuscon: you have to clean your desk with THREE different cleaners?!?!?! Holy cow.

 I don´t know what would have to happen for you to ever stop worrying about something :D I think we should put it this way...as long as Aly worries, things are fine :D

I don´t know, there are so many pregnancy stages that the spreadsheet would be way too long :) Besides, everybody´s pregnancy is different so it would be complicated :)

Nice profit :) Do you still have lotsa stuff to sell? :)

Yeah - I know - thing is, with my heart murmur, worrying is really not a good thing - as my mum keeps telling me that I am going to be in an early grave (thanks mum(!) ) I am just hoping that once the move is done with I will calm down and chillout a bit more - I would just love to be calm and serene... Ohhh what I wouldn't give!!

oh, and my job is a major pain in the neck. i made a mistake that might be pretty bad, and i am kinda sure that they will fire me next week. they make me rush like crazy through things, so i don't have the time to double check for mistakes....

i guess i would be kinda relieved i they would fire me, as they are all micromanagers (i had to sign a memo on how to clean my desk on fridays, there are 3 steps with different detergents....). but on the other hand, i REALLY like my paychecks.

Glad to see the free hugs are back!!! I'd look for another job - if they fire you then you've got a headstart, and if they don't, then you can get out anyway - I can't believe you had to sign a memo on how to clean your desk - what is this!? George Orwell's "1984" - are they going to have thought police too!? Sounds ridiculous to me - stay strong hun and just think, it's best to be prepared for the worst by keeping your eyes peeled for something better :D

And Ally, you're getting married a week before me :) On P's birthday too.....

Cool! I thought everyone was getting married before our legal thing so it's nice to know that there are a couple of us straggling  Have added you to the AOS spreadsheet :D

Haha - yeah the Canadians have to de-tour via the UK ;) Although it was in reference to Gillian who is actually lfying across from the UK and actually crossing the pond :D

Can totally relate to the stress - planning wedding, worrying about getting through immigration next month, interview, medical, life upheaval - need I go on? It is really taking its toll at the moment and I feel totally exhausted and tired and drained - I can't wait for things to settle down and move and also to find out how it was for Gillian! :D I am so excited for her!

Oh - and you never claimed a bean bag!!

*indicates vaguely in the direction of a huge pile of vacant bean bags*

The Very Secret Diary of Legolas Son of Weenus - by Cassandra Claire

Day One: Went to Council of Elrond. Was prettiest person there. Agreed to follow some tiny little man to Mordor to throw ring into volcano. Very important mission - gold ring so tacky.

Day Six: Far too dark in Mines of Moria to brush hair properly. Am very afraid I am developing a tangle.

Orcs so silly.

Still the prettiest.

Day 35: Boromir dead. Very messy death, most unnecessary. Did get kissed by Aragorn as he expired. Does a guy have to get shot full of arrows around here to get any action? Boromir definitely not prettier than me. Cannot understand it. Am feeling a pout coming on.

Frodo off to Mordor with Sam. Tiny little men caring about each other, rather cute really.

Am quite sure Gimli fancies me. So unfair. He is waist height, so can see advantages there, but chunky braids and big helmet most off-putting. Foresee dark times ahead, very dark times.

OMG guys - I'm moving in three weeks and I still can't get my head around it - it is soooo weird - I know I am moving and I can't wait to be there, but I am really dreading leaving if that makes sense - all the goodbyes and emotional BS and stuff... How did everyone else deal with that? I just want to be there now - if I could skip the good bye part I would be sooo much happier!!

yeah, that bit's not the funnest :?

I was quite happy with what we did - big party the night before, and then off we went the next day :D

and my parents joining us three weeks later (one week from now) meant we didn't have to say a big emotional goodbye to them :)

yet

I'm hoping for loads of visitors from home! and in the meantime I've been taking photos of EVERYTHING, and started a new blog (my old one, London Calling, seemed strangely inappropriate ;) ), to document my settling in, things I'm doing round the house, etc :)

Oh, I'm a dumbazz. I'm getting married a week before you :) But I'm still a straggler. We had to wait for P to finish his thesis, though he got an extension till October...

I started a blog too - there is lots of info out there about the practical side of things, but nothing really that I have found that covers the emotional side of things - I am going to link it into our story once I can get Jeremy to sort the website out >< Mum's not going to be coming out until Easter next year although there is a chance she might be out for Christmas depending on what my brothers are doing :) That would be awesome :D

well - for me it was so stressful, as i was working fulltime 4 weeks before i left in february, that i didn't have the time to really soak it in and to stress about it. but it's catching up to me. looking at the luggage tags brings tears to my eyes and i am trying to understand how i had the guts to do this.

but - aly, just like usual: IT WILL BE FINE!!!!!

oh, and i now know where i want to go for our belated honeymoon: BORABORA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! now we only need to win the lottery!!!!!

i am SOOO excited!!!!!

The silly thing is you don't have to be brave or strong willed or anything. I've found with the all hardest things in life, they just creep up, and then are done. Exams, degrees, jobs, interviews and even visas. You just walk on the plane and then you're away.

I'll never forget when I left Charlie for the first time, after spending 2 solid months together. I got to the airport, and was suddenly on the plane, I heard all these Irish accents around me for the first time all summer, and reality came crashing in. But I'd done it already at that stage. I was on my way home.

Yeah and the worst part was when so many people just "knew" what my future would be and that I wouldn´t go back to Czech for at least 4 or 5 years, cuz I would be too busy or whatever else they came up with which is really helpful to tell that to a person who is gonna miss the home country and definately wants to come back earlier than in 4 or 5 years. That wasn´t really helpful during the last week when I was sad, so at the end I didn´t even feel like meeting too many people.

one day, i went to a bar, got drunk a lot, and met this guy. and, you know, i just had to marry him and then i just had to move to the US. but the visa stuff is really hardcore, so i joined a internet community. there, i met this funny girl from england, and i will meet her in sedona!!!!!

YAI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
