The Very Secret Diary of Legolas Son of Weenus - by Cassandra Claire

Day One: Went to Council of Elrond. Was prettiest person there. Agreed to follow some tiny little man to Mordor to throw ring into volcano. Very important mission - gold ring so tacky.

Day Six: Far too dark in Mines of Moria to brush hair properly. Am very afraid I am developing a tangle.

Orcs so silly.

Still the prettiest.

Day 35: Boromir dead. Very messy death, most unnecessary. Did get kissed by Aragorn as he expired. Does a guy have to get shot full of arrows around here to get any action? Boromir definitely not prettier than me. Cannot understand it. Am feeling a pout coming on.

Frodo off to Mordor with Sam. Tiny little men caring about each other, rather cute really.

Am quite sure Gimli fancies me. So unfair. He is waist height, so can see advantages there, but chunky braids and big helmet most off-putting. Foresee dark times ahead, very dark times.

ah, i'm so happy for you!

:) :)

i received my EAD and AP yesterday, turns out, they give you 2 APs, meaning you can leave and reenter twice. (that's at least how I understandt it). it's a piece of paper with a ton of security-thingy's like holograms and stuff, and a color picture and next to the color picture is a field for a stamp and signature of the immigration-officer that paroles you into the country.

ohwell, the only trip we planned so far is to go home for christmas, and i hope to have my greencard by then.

the most important is the EAD.

so i went yesterday to have my DL renewed :) :)

anyway: i hope that everybody is having a great weekend.

no hugs, i'm feeling sick and don't want to contaminate the VJ-family.

Actually, you can leave and re-enter more than twice -- as many times as you'd like. The customs officers will not / should not keep those AP papers. You hand them over for them to look at, and they hand them back to you. And for some dumb reason, you are supposed to travel with BOTH of them together, but since they don't come with instructions on how to use them, apparently that's forgiven often b/c people don't know they're supposed to.

Hope you feel better!

I just checked Griff's AOS and it was touched again today! Not sure if it means much of anything, but I take comfort in knowing that someone at least moved his file!!!

Regarding the house, we have a tentative closing date of 11 July. Home inspection is tomorrow, lawyer reviewing contract and oce that is signed off on, its to the bank to secure the mortgage. I can't believe it!!

We took a drive by the new house yesterday and the lilacs were in bloom and some other tree was all covered in deep pink blooms. There are so many flowers! Its a dream come true for me! I love to garden and I can't believe all that beauty will be mine to tend to!

We will have our first Dr appointment end of the month when she is 2 months along. I think at 4 months you can find out the baby's sex, and yes we want to know!

for a boy, William Andrew we will call him Drew

for a girl Aleigh Page we will call her Aleigh

we are now relaxing from all the family leaving and us getting back to normal. It was a great awesome week but now its nice for things to get a little quiet. Looks like last week of Dec will be the due date.

Ooooh A Christmas baby!!! Lovely names as well - I like things that are slightly unusual (although don't think Drew is as unusual in the US as it is in the UK :D)

Awww StP -= I am sooooo happy for you!! It must have been awesome to see him again!! I wonder how long it will take for you to get fed up with him being around all the time  I know that I have got used to my own company and my own space so I am going to find it hard to adjust ><

Oh julez - that's fantastic!! Good luck with the AOS!! Sounds like something is happening so keeping fingers crossed for you!!!

Am on the phone to Air France at the moment and got through to a lady who knows what she is talking about - she is absolutely lovely and is just in the process of booking Daisy onto my flight as well!! She just has to go through a supervisor and call back to confirm but ohhhh I feel a lot happier about it now :D

Now... if only we had an apartment I *might* stop freaking out a bit!!!

yayy we got our marriage license this morning

it was quite a hassle because of the blustery rain outside and the fact that we got to the place and then had to go back home because adriano didnt remember his ssn, and we didnt have the card with us  good thing we live very close and it was only 20 minutes round trip...i changed my sig because i dont think we are getting married on friday, we still dont know when!! lol i didnt think my family would want to be so involved, so now i have to consider all of them when making the plans...i suppose there are bigger problems in the world than having to change your wedding date several times because too many ppl love you and want to attend :P

First, congratz on your near wedding!! Can't wait to hear when the official date is, and more importantly, to receive my engraved invite in the mail!!!!

As for the Twister extravagnaza, it will be in August, since we are closing 11 July, off to the UK from 20 July - 27 July and we are immediately building an extension on the house to make the kitchen bigger and to add a mud room. Once that's all done, we'll be ready top twister the night away!! Besides, by then, Poiteen should be stateside! ;)
