they should, its rough out there!! im excited for the 'civil disobedience' demonstrations that will take place in a couple of hours...they are regarding the sean bell case...one of the demonstrations will be three blocks from my job

OMG I know!! You know what? I have paid such little attention to the position of the ticker and now... well... wow... I'm going to have to change it when I move!!! What should I change it to? Maybe an anniversary one!?

If I understand it right, Mr and Mrs Pointeen are living together and they will also be moving together. If that´s true it sounds even more complicated than all the rest of us have it. The rest of us usually: one person is settled somewhere so the other person has at least somewhere to move to.

I wish that were the case with me!! But Jeremy is calling a place tonight - here - it's only small but it will do to start with What do you all think? I am really keeping my fingers crossed...

Those apartments look really cute Aly! It would be a nice place for starting out! The rents look pretty affordable for Cali and its great that the complex has a nice British name to make you feel at home!!! Let us know how it works out!

Well they still have them available and Jeremy is going over to see them later so I can't wait!! I suddenly feel more excited like we are doing something!! I really hope they are as nice in person as they look online It's not anything big or fancy but until I get a job and we can get a mortgage... well it will do *and* there is a gym and a pool to use and it is next to a shopping mall and a park

the sean bell case...if you dont know...a young, unarmed, african american man was shot and killed by police officers outside a nightclub...the cops shot at him and his friends more than 50 times, and were acquitted (spelling?) on all charges

In other news - apartments looked skanky according to Jeremy so the search is still on *sigh*

Ah well... he signed up for another site that costs a bit of money but has had great reviews... he found reviews for the apartments he looked at and they were dreadful

Thanks Aly! I am incredibly thrilled.

We didn't receive P4 yet; I called DOS to find out our date and they told us our P4 was mailed yesterday.

That's too bad about the apartment (the pics did look pretty nice, pool and all). Does Jeremy look on Craigslist? I would guess him being a Californian and all he must know about it, but I don't know if there are listings for your area.
