It´s gonna be great STP for you to see your home country again and all your family and friends and having Dave there with you makes it even so much better :D I´m so happy for you :dance::dance:

Now ofcourse it means we won´t hear from you for quite some time I guess but we will unselfishly wait for you to come back to us with arms open wide and a huge smile on our faces :D

you're such a sweetheart :)

I won't be able to spend much time online when I'm in Aus, it's true, but I'll try to check in from time to time... and then of course once I'm in the US I'll have all the time in the world :D

The Very Secret Diary of Legolas Son of Weenus - by Cassandra Claire

Day One: Went to Council of Elrond. Was prettiest person there. Agreed to follow some tiny little man to Mordor to throw ring into volcano. Very important mission - gold ring so tacky.

Day Six: Far too dark in Mines of Moria to brush hair properly. Am very afraid I am developing a tangle.

Orcs so silly.

Still the prettiest.

Day 35: Boromir dead. Very messy death, most unnecessary. Did get kissed by Aragorn as he expired. Does a guy have to get shot full of arrows around here to get any action? Boromir definitely not prettier than me. Cannot understand it. Am feeling a pout coming on.

Frodo off to Mordor with Sam. Tiny little men caring about each other, rather cute really.

Am quite sure Gimli fancies me. So unfair. He is waist height, so can see advantages there, but chunky braids and big helmet most off-putting. Foresee dark times ahead, very dark times.

Dare I get mushy and sentimental about the past? My old acquaintances Jeraly and mox are here! I posted in K-1 a little bit while our case was still in USCIS, but have visited naught but the SE Asia forum since. Now that the time is drawing near for my love and I to travel back to the U.S. (I hope), I find the time is right to re-unite with the European world. Mai's interview is May 9th. I leave for Vietnam the 29th of this month. Wish us luck! Damn the California Service Center!

On edit: Oh, and forgot about Still the Prettiest. Terribly sorry. I still crack up every time I read that footer. Citibank. Thieeeeeeevs! Theeeeeeeeeevs! They stole the Precious, and we must gets its baaaaaaack!

*waving*

glad you could join us! :D

agnes, I'm so sorry you're feeling so homesick :(

I don't know what you can do... if you're missing stuff you'll just miss it :(

but maybe if you can find some things to love about your new place you'll start to feel it less :)

Aww hun *hugs* It's just cause your parents just left as well - you'll settle down again - remember how you felt when you first moved and after you settled down a bit more? Well that will happen again - promise :)

It's great that you got a job (you never said what it was or was I just blind?) and are tutoring German - at least there are things to keep you busy :) And not only that but you are with the person you love so it could be worse :)

Maybe you and my_lany can get together and teach us all German :D I can ask the best way to the station!! But that's about it  Apart from saying guinea pig... and window...

Ok... I am now OFFICIALLY excited :D :D

Chris has found an apartment in a NICE part of town (He has been living with a friend for the past year and a half in a really HORRIBLE part of town that I had absolutely NO intentions of moving to... I also didn't fancy sharing a house with someone else when Chris and I haven't seen eachother for 7 months...) It's $725 a month, which is a little pricey  But I think we will just be able to manage... (I hope  )

AND!!!!!

I booked my flight today!!!!   £240 one way ticket to Dulles on 30th April!! :D 12 days to go :o

AND!!!!!

I only have one more shift left at work!!! :D:dance:

ETA: Congrats on getting your visa Jeraly!!! :D
