Hi, my husband and I submitted the I-130 package for me ( i'm currently in Canada) in early November and the shipping confirmation on usps.com did say that the package was delivered on November 17th. But he is still waiting for a receipt in order to submit I-129 and the K-3 visa for me. We were planning on meeting in USA in March, but right now I can't even do anything! Most people say that it usually takes about 3 weeks for the I-130 receipt to arrive, but it has been months! It's the end of January and there is still nothing. We checked our bank account and it shows that the check for I-130 still isn't cashed. I tried calling the national service center but they said there is nothing they can do. Is there any advice for me at this point?

You might want to take a look at the CR-1/IR-1 forum. There is a severe backlog in getting the NOA-1s from a I-130 application. Applicants are just starting to see the NOA-1s being issued from applications filed in August and Sept 2007. I filed in late October and am still waiting. I started a spreadsheet to track the NOA-1s, and it might give you an idea of where things are at.
