I wonder if anybody can help me regarding this question, especailly someone who went already to Naples Consulate in Italy. Since it is required a police certificate from all the countries where the applicant has resided for at least 1 year(since age of 16), I was wondering as I lived for 12 months in the past in the USA, should I present such document from USA bedises the one from Italy, as I have always lived here in Italy all my life execept those 12 months in USA?

Can anybody help me???I'm having a big sore in my stomach for that, because if I really need it from USA, where should I ask for it in USA? At the police Dept. of the city where I lived in USA????? And if I need it how long it takes to get it?????

Thanks to everybody who might help me!!!!!!!

Here's a link form a Canadian site that lists all the states and contact info for getting Police Clearance certificate for visa purposes. It seems they all have a small fee and some paper-based procedure for requesting it. Good Luck

I hope they are right!!!!! I read somewhere, but I cant remember that if you spent at least

1 year or over that time in USA then it doesnt matter about the certificate because

anyway we are going to have the interview for entring anyway in USA. I've been trying

to remember in which site (maybe this one) I read that!!!!

The FBI will take care of that so you need to do nothing. Good luck with your interview

Umm. Wait a minute. I thought (by reading another thread) that you are the Petitioner, not the Beneficiary? Is that correct? Only the Beneficiary needs police certificates.

Updated- Never mind. Confused you with someone else.......
