5 Razor Blades across my face

After years of the electric razor and ingrown hairs I've decided to try going back to the regular razor. It's been a while since I've bought blades but damn- this Gillette Fusion has 5 razor blades in the cartridge. 5 ?!

The last time I did this I had only 2. I'm not sure I have the guts to do this.

Careful there, lol! I f'ing HATE shaving. It's the worst thing about my job. I use a nice electric one, but I get bumps and ingrown hairs no matter HOW I shave. Ah, I can't wait to grow a beard again...

I have used electric almost the whole time I've shaved. I did switch to blades for awhile, but they are too much work!

With the right electric razor, you can still get a pretty decent shave, but it will take a persons face time to get used to it. I prefer Norelco.

i think so. i've been using an electric for the past 23 years. as for cost comparison, just add up how often you buy blades and shaving cream and get an estimate of how much would be spent in a year. i'd think that the costs of such exceed the electric razor purchase.

These razor blades are getting to the point of comedy with seeing how many blades they can stick in one cartridge.

It's like that part in "Something about Mary" where the hitch-hiker is talking about 7-minute abs... "but what if someone comes up with 6-minute abs?"

There is actually a lawsuit going through now where one of those companies is suing the other becuase their 4-blade model was "copied" by the other one. Well, looks like that 5-blade model is going to screw it all up.

I'm about to go back to the straight razor. I don't shave much anymore (only twice a month.... so lazy... so lazy... and still waiting on the visa!) but once I do start shaving a lot again, I'll probably go old school on 'em.

I used an electric razor for years ... I was scared to use blades when I was younger ...

I eventually switched over to blades and would never go back to an electric ... I found with an electric I always had a rash and it never seemed to shave as close as a blade ...

I ordered 4 blades from greatrazors.com (mach3) and my first blade lasted 2 months, I'm on my second one since February. they work great.
