What I miss alot abt Philippines is the Baywalk in Manila. Been there twice out of the 3 times I've visited PI but since there is nothing there anymore we didn't travel there my last vacation. We did go to Boracuy though. Lots of fun in the Sun there really!!!

Alright real answer..

What I miss about Philippines is how I can make money in the US and spend them in the Philippines.. Malling, Clubbing, Partying, Drinking outside the house, Going to Fiesta, Staying @ a Hotel... I feel like a 1st class in the Philippines..

Of course lets give thanks to the Exchange Rate.. (too bad the $$ is down)

As for the US.. I can't do what I do in the Philippines here.. Its just too expensive.. All I do here is work, eat, sleep..

What I love most about the US that I can't do in Philippine is.. Online Shopping (ebay, Amazon, etc).. Well you could also do that in the Philippines but I don't trust the Mailing System there and FEDEX (Air21) is just too expensive..

It kinda works out real good...

Im not from the pi, Im from Guam which is pretty similar in culture, but Ive been in the pi for awhile and miss so many things:

Miss

1. my wife and in-laws, cool friends Ive met over there.

2. kare kare, batchoy, Dinuguan, lechon kawali (my favorite), crispy pata, sisig, goldilocks lumpia..the list goes on..haha..

3. riding the jeepney's, and cab's

4. waking up in the morning and hearing side cart motorbikes and loud jeepneys driving by our place...

5. definitely all the sm malls and having dinner at baywalk and fun nights at greenhbelt and cowboy grill..hehe..

6. shopping at greenhills and bacalaran

7. P650 "brand name" shoes..haha..

8. seeing people enjoy and appreciate the most simple things in life and dont complain and just work around it, not too many people like that here in the u.s. Its taught me a lot and was a good experience.

9. all the street food...

love about the u.s.

1. the weather and the clean air (san francisco)

2. no traffic

3. sight seeing

4. job opportunities

5. many more and will find out more once my wife gets here.. :)

Hey man... Don't feel like a stranger here..

I too grew up in Guam!! As a matter of fact when we were petitioned back in 91 our Port of Entry was Guam..

That's my island bro!! (che' lu!!) hehehehe.. Stayed in that Island for 8yrs.. Lived up north in Yigo!! Outside Andersen Airbase..

I know the Chamorro Culture..

BTW I miss the red rice from KFC and some Finadeni sauce.. hehehehe

Hey Erick, Wow Chelu its such a small world..huh..lol.. wow man thats crazy... Thats nice to know man, thats weird cause weve been messaging each other and you have lived in Guam before and know what Im talking about..haha..thats cool man.. Yea I stayed in mong mong, born and raised in Guam, half chamorro and Maori(New Zealand). oh so you stayed in Anderson area.. I used to go to the Anderson back roads and street race when I was younger and naughty..lol.., but no more...... Wow thats nice to hear man.. Yea I miss finadeni and the red rice...all the healthy food..haha.. Where you originally from in the pi?

Some Filipinos who lived in the US tend to be OA sometime. I don't mind anyways, it's their life. :)

BTW, I miss balut, manga na may bagoong, sinigang, atbp...
