Clinton, Obama clash over race issue

VJ troll discounted him as a nut. I just said I wouldn't use him as a source. Your the one that held him up as some sort of an unbiased source that Clinton didn't play the race card. I just pointed out the the headline said he was a major Clinton supporter.

My first point (and main point) was the truce called. Then you bashed my source, per usual. What do you know about Rangel, Gary? Anything? He's quite influential. And it was HUGE for Hillary's campaign to have a black man come out & speak the truth about the (distorted) comment Obama made.

The NYC media covers him a lot since he's a local congressman.. i believe that's her point. He is very smart about some things, has a lot of insight but through it all makes sporadic nutty comments. He's like a smart but slightly wacko old man.

Are we reading the same things? I just pointed out the Rangel is a "major Clinton supporter". To me that isn't "bashing" anything. That is just pointing out his motivation for sticking up for Clinton.

And that is going to affect me how? He may be my favorite but the world isn't going to come to an end if he doesn't make it. Any rep is better than any dem to me. Honestly, you flatter yourself Gary. I have no interest in you, never have. I like to debate your political choices, that's all. Your wife has made it personal with me - why she won't let you fight your own battles, I do not know!
