The NYC media covers him a lot since he's a local congressman.. i believe that's her point. He is very smart about some things, has a lot of insight but through it all makes sporadic nutty comments. He's like a smart but slightly wacko old man.

I wouldn't live in NY on a dare. Having said that, Rangel is very well known. Just because you don't know anything past your own state don't assume that everyone is like that.

You don't seem to comprehend things well, as you said NY is my state when it hasn't been my state for oh, it's been 3 years since I filed an absentee ballot for NY state.

My first point (and main point) was the truce called. Then you bashed my source, per usual. What do you know about Rangel, Gary? Anything? He's quite influential. And it was HUGE for Hillary's campaign to have a black man come out & speak the truth about the (distorted) comment Obama made.
