You will get more specific answer if you post in the MENA forum.

However, it is standard for the language of the country to be the language of the interview. Don't know if that is her native language.

Also, since she doesnt' speak English, one question will be how do you communicate with each other.

My wife was well coached to greet the CO in English and to answer many common questions in English, even though she didn't speak very well. The CO beat her to the punch and greeted her in Mandarin. He did ask if she spoke English and she answered "a little". "Does your husband speak Mandarin?" "A little." The entire interview was in Mandarin. Any language concern relates to how the couple communicates. As long as you have a common language or other acceptable answer, there is no need for English unless that is the native language in the country of interview.

When I had my interview, the interviewer asked me if I prefer to speak in Arabic or English .

I think it is not a problem to talk in your native language cuz there are translators in the embassy .In addition I know alot of people who had their interviews in Arabic with no problems .

Good luck
