Well it happens, and sure it would be lovely if our SO could just come here all freely but the US has to protect it's citizen. They should not be has strict when it comes to people like us applying for our SOs to come and live but I guess it is understandable but hard to grasp.

I think it would be hard but my husband is vaguely familiar with life here seeing that he visists for months at a time. I also understand visiting and living are two different things but when his K3 is approved at least it wont be his first time coming here.

I do not wish to share any information about this dead end journey.........I have reached my final destination on this train, and it is time for me to get off.

THIS TOO SHALL PASS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"If marriage means you fell in love, does divorce mean you climbed out?"

"You never really know a man until you have divorced him."-Zsa Zsa Gabor

"When a man hath taken a wife, and married her, and it come to pass that she find no favour in his eyes, because he hath found some uncleanness in her: then let him write her a bill of divorcement, and give it in her hand, and send her out of his house. And when she is departed out of his house, she may go and be another man's wife." Deuteronomy 24:1-2

"When you get to the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on." - Franklin D. Roosevelt

"When one door of happiness closes, another opens; but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one which has been opened for us." - Helen Keller

"Even though you may want to move forward in your life, you may have one foot on the brakes. In order to be free, we must learn how to let go. Release the hurt. Release the fear. Refuse to entertain your old pain. The energy it takes to hang onto the past is holding you back from a new life. What is it you would let go of today?" - Mary Manin Morrissey

"I know God will not give me anything I can't handle. I just wish that He didn't trust me so much." - Mother Theresa

Right this moment, there are an estimated 1,000,000,000 people worldwide that would pack and leave for the US at a moment's notice if only they could. Are you ready to bear the consequences of quadrupling the population here? I'm not.

Yeah. I'm pretty sure the only way this would work is when countries like China and Mexico etc. have some basic human rights, corruption that doesn't run rampant, unemployment rates that don't exceed 20%, and wages measured in dollars rather than pennies an hour. What a wonderful world it would be if we truly were all equal. But, there are an awful lot of people that don't want to be equal. Anyway, it is fun to dream, isn't it?

People leaving their countries for better lives is pretty much what keeps the status quo. Because there's hope for those people to someday escape all this mess they're in. Or maybe their kids at least will be able to. That hope is what keeps so many going day in and day out and that hope is what enables them to bear the burden of living under opressive regimes and in ridiculous poverty. The hope to get out one day is the pressure valve these tyrants out there depend on. Without it, people might just kick them to hell.

That's the dream I dream: That people will learn to stand up and take charge of their destiny rather than running away from that challenge. ;)

There is a song... John Lennon:

Imagine there's no Heaven

It's easy if you try

No hell below us

Above us only sky

Imagine all the people

Living for today

Imagine there's no countries

It isn't hard to do

Nothing to kill or die for

And no religion too

Imagine all the people

Living life in peace

You may say that I'm a dreamer

But I'm not the only one

I hope someday you'll join us

And the world will be as one

Imagine no possessions

I wonder if you can

No need for greed or hunger

A brotherhood of man

Imagine all the people

Sharing all the world

You may say that I'm a dreamer

But I'm not the only one

I hope someday you'll join us

And the world will live as one.
