we rarely get snow here especially as far south as I live. last time we had a measureable amount of snow was over 3yrs ago and we had 24". otherwise we get snow that comes down and melts before I wake up in the morning.

It's pretty when I leave the apt. at 5:30 and people haven't been stepping in it, afterwards, yuck.

There's a chance that the big boss might call a snow day especially since classes aren't in session but for 5-6" I doubt that that's gonna happen.

It will be fun seeing Govi deal with the snow since looking at timelines he will probably be arriving in winter - he comes from the south(Terai) which is more like N. India's weather so he will be like me when I first came to NY from Hawaii 8 years ago. I told him before he leaves Nepal to pick up a knockoff North Face jacket because he'll be needing it in NYC!!!

We get more than you, Amber, but we're a bit more northerly than you are. We had around 5 inches in December and 2 inches a week or so ago - and it is snowing outside now, but very light.

But I want MORE!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE snow.
