Murderer of baby animals.

*salivate* yum

What are vegetables?

Someone should start a favorite and least favorite dead animal to eat thread. I love eating dead animals myself, baby lamb being at the top of my list.

Doesn't that look delicious?

Mmm, that looks pretty good. Definitely going to be some tender lamb shanks.

Indeed

We raised goats when I was young. I had my own goat, Strawberry, and I helped her deliver her first kid. I named him Albert. We ate Albert about 9 months later, but I don't think I took of his meat. :(

Goat meat is big in my family but I've never liked. I find it too chewy. But the curry of goat curry (especially after it's sat in the fridge overnight) is awesome. It's a tasteful meat, I just dislike the texture.

I love a wide variety of veggies. My fave are carrots, bok choy, edamame (flavored right are awesome), broccoli, cauliflower, snap peas, fresh spinach, and a ton more.

I absolutely hate raw onions. Grosses me out.

Lamb killer.

I love lentils. Lentils and black eyed peas and sauerkraut and broccoli and spinach and green beans and cucumbers and .....

Yeah, I like all vegetables except brussel sprouts. Those are definitely spawn of the devil.

Dislike:

Lima Beans

Me too...they taste so pasty and dry...yuk.

when I was little I would do everything to get out of eating them. so much that in culinary school we had to write a paper about a food memory in one of our classes and I wrote a 5 page paper about my hate of lima beans!

LOL.... That's awesome (culinary school). Are you working as a chef?

Dislike:

Black eyed Peas- (Yuck! My mom used to try to make me eat them as part of the New Year's Day tradition. Hated it!)

Pinto beans- (I think my grandpa is the only person I know who eats this)

Me too on the Black-Eyed Peas (both the group and the vegetable)

I love pinto beans though...especially refritos frijoles! :D

Steven I own my own bakery/cafe now. I went to school in Pasadena though and worked in LA for awhile before I moved to London for a job.

aaawww you guys havent had any good southern cooking, you'd end up loving lima beans and blackeyed peas if you had some of my grandma's dishes :)

the only veg I can think of right now that I DONT like is okra. and I am not a big fan of cooked celery but I will eat it if its in something, not worth picking out...

Steven that made me laugh about the coleslaw, I love it too. in fact when I was pregnant with my first child, coleslaw was one of the few things I craved. I used to go to KFC at least every other day and get a family sized coleslaw with a spork and eat it in the car. the people at the drive thru knew me and they would laugh when I pulled up!

:) My mom was born and raised in Texas, so I did get some of that good food.

There's an Asian Buffet restaurant that has become our favorite place - their coleslaw is outstanding. :D

I love fried okra.

Yeah, cooked celery is just weird because it's so crunchy when it's raw. I like it raw when I can dip it in something.

Neil tried okra and said it tastes like alien pen*s

Mushrooms - especially on pizza or my MIL's mushroom curry

Corn on the cob

DISLIKES:

My favs:

Potatoes

Onions(red onions especially, raw and cooked)

garlic

cauliflower

broccolli

tomatoes(yeah yeah I guess it's a fruit)

avacado

alfalfa sprouts

Don't really like:

lime beans

hmm I am blank at the moment...I don't remember ever having brussel sprouts to know if I hate them.

I guess there aren't a lot of vegetables I hate. I will eat most of them even if I don't really like them. There are more fruits that I dislike than vegetables.
