Hi,

Anybody waiting for packet 3and 4 from New Delhi Embassy? My case has been siting there for 3 weeks now! have not received anything...they mailed another packet 3 couple days ago in reply to my email! Is there anything I can do to speed up this process for I -129F? :help:

Can I go to the embassy I do the needful instead of waiting for the mail? and then Get the police certificate , medical etc. done in the meantime?

Pl help , im totally feeling helpless rite now!

Send them an email saying if you can drop off the items for packet 3 in the embassy in new delhi. That is what we are planning to do.. I just want to find out how to get packet 3 info

K1 Visa Timeline :

07-27-2007- Sent out I-129f

08-07-2007 : Received NOA1

12-23-2007 : NOA2 approved

12-27-2007 : NVC Received

01-10-2008 : Case forwarded to New Delhi Embassy by NVC.

01-14-2008 : New Delhi Embassy received our file from NVC.

01-24-2008 : Submitted Packet 3 at New Delhi Embassy.

02-06-2008 : Submitted docs at VFS.

02-21-2008 : Interview- visa was approved pending security.

02-25-2008 : Called NVC and they said Visa is approved. VFS- they didnt get it yet.

02-27-2008: Visa in HAND!!!!

03-08-2007: Arrived at POE(JFK)

May 12-2008- Got the Marriage License

May 19-2008- Married!!!

AOS

06-06-2008 Mailed out AOS

06-08-2008 Delivered to Lockbox

06-16-2008 NOA for EAD, AP, AOS(dated June 12)

06-28-2008 Biometrics done!

Sorry to hijack this thread, but I thought I can get this info here only. Anybody with NVC number starting NWD2008xxxxxx ? I am worried since all the Jan interview dates start with NWD2007* at Delhi and so does at Chennai.

yours is NWD2008 since it got to NVC in 2008.. mine got there Dec 28, so it got a nwd2007 number

K1 Visa Timeline :

12-23-2007 : NOA2 approved

12-27-2007 : NVC Received

Hiya,

We are also waiting for our Packet 4 from New Delhi Embassy. I thought Packet 3 that was sent by NVC to the Petitioner will ask for some more documents. However Packet 3 that my Fiance received from NVC only provides NWD2008##### case number and states that the benificiary (thats me) will hear from local consulate (which is New Delhi in our case). See my timeline. Our case was transferred on 10th Jan 2008 and I have not heard from New Delhi Embassy anything yet.

Is there a way to track NWD case status?? Or is there any contact number??

That is not your packet 3. Once New Delhi gets your case they will mail out a packet 3, you have to then fill out 2 forms send it back and then they will give you the interview date with packet 4. Figure at least March for interviews.

looks like lot of people are waiting for papers from New Delhi embassy. I am just hoping that the rest of the VJ'ers who are also facing the same situation at New Delhi put their status in this thread and take advantage of each other's experiences.
