Am here! At work! Only one day off this past week so I feel kind of tired. I threw out my old contacts last night but forgot to hunt up the boxes of replacements so I'm in glasses today. I hate glasses! Watched Pearl Harbor last night, which was thoroughly depressing. Ammar played solitaire on the computer during the whole movie so he wouldn't have to watch me cry. Wimp!

None of my posts have ever been helpful. Be forewarned.

Happy Sunday everyone! Back at work, so I can post again

Totally flipped out on the hubby this weekend, the stress of everything and running around all the time got to me. But I have to say, he handled it VERY well and I am so happy I have such a wonderful and loving husband :luv: He was at work 12 hrs yesterday and I was home alone to get some things done and de-stress ;) I also cooked a 3 course meal for dinner (including dessert), it was yummy :D

Hope everyone has a stress free day :)

Good morning ladies

:)

I pulled a muscle in my neck or something when I was washing my hair yesterday morning. I hate when that happens. I know it looks funny because my neck is so stiff I can't move it well. One time when it happened it lasted over a week!

Oh well, could be worse. :D

Hubby was really sick the last 3 days and alhamdulillah he is finally starting to get better, but I'm still worried about him and hate being away from him when he's sick and I can't take care of him.

Been a pretty lazy weekend and I guess that will continue today. Maybe my son and I will take a trip to the mall. Yay for being stared at for wearing hijab!

Allah tries his chosen people through many hardships, but those who persevere through adversity, surrendering themselves before the will of Allah, shall be blessed with a superb reward.

-The Prophet Muhammad (SAW), as reported by Anas bin Malik

A time will come when the sky is torn apart; when the stars scatter, and the ocean drains away; and when the graves are tossed about, and laid open. At that time every man will be told what he has done, and what he has failed to do; and every woman will be told what she has done, and what she has failed to do.

-Qur'an, Al-Infitar, Surah 82:1-5

ok, just rolled my butt outta bed about an hour ago and think I should make my way back there. I have a headache from heck and have been gaseous maximus since last night. I guess the OJ didn't settle too well along with the fish , sugar cookies, and hamburger pizza (yes that was the whole days meals and not just 1 lol). I really want some spinach from Dimassis but don't wanna go out to get it. *sigh*

All of my laundry is done and in a basket beside the couch....problem is that it looks like the dryer threw-up and missed coz there are so many clothes! They have exploded out the top of the laundry basket and have nestled themselves in a heap on the couch. My cats have found it to be a great bed and I sure hate to spoil their comfort so I think I'll let the mountain sit for a while.

Hope everyone has a very relaxing day!
