im so happy to rec. my biometrics schedule today in the mail but i was wondering does my son needs 1 too? he is just a toddler and i rec. a biometrics schedule for him too (2 hours apart from my bio sched).. i think i read somewhere that they dont req. biometrics for under 14 years child applying for AOS? can someone tell me im wrong? thanks!

I'm not sure how they do it for toddlers. When we did our AOS a couple of years ago, my son was under 14. His biometrics (no fee) was mainly just getting his personal info (height, weight, hair color, color of eyes, etc), taking his digital picture, a thumb print and digital signature. All the digital images (picture, print and signature) were placed on my son's GC.

08/17/08: Mailed N400 to TSC

08/19/08: USPS attempted delivery

08/20/08: TSC received N400

08/21/08: TSC cashed check

09/02/08: Received NOA...........Priority date: 08/20/08

..............................................Notice date : 08/22/08

09/02/08: Received Biometrics Notification

09/18/08: Biometrics completed - Charlotte DO

10/24/08: Received Interview Letter

12/08/08: Interview @ 1:00pm. APPROVED!

01/05/09: Oath Ceremony 10:00AM. Now officially a USC!!!

01/17/09: Applied for US Passport and passport card

01/28/09: Received US Passport

01/29/09: Received US passport card

01/29/09: Received naturalization certificate back from passport office

Everyone who applies for permanent residence is required to go through a biometrics appointment which may or may not include fingerprinting depending upon the age of the individual.
