How far inadvance can i get my papers ready like for I134 and letters from emp's k-3

I know for the bank statements they should be as recent as possible from the date of the interview.

03/09/2013: Married

09/10/2013: Sent I-130

09/12/2013: Case Received.

03/04/2014: Petition transferred to Nebraska Service Center.

03/25/2014: I-130 Petition approved

03/28/2014: Petition sent to NVC

04/09/2014: NVC received case

05/08/2014: NVC assigned case number

05/16/2014: Paid AOS fee

10/02/2014: Case Closed

10/10/2014: Interview Date Scheduled

11/17/2014: Interview - APPROVED!!

so why my lawyer wants to go ahead and get statement form bank then,, If i do not have interview dat yet which wii most like be in march

All financial docs should be dated as close to the interview as possible.

well with urs u already done right and interw is in march so is taht concerted close lol they need amount deposuit in acct form year so this year ended so why i cna not go get now,, and add my bank stsement fore rest and have bank sing off on it can that be done

How do you know I have sent my fiance my financial docs? I sent other proof of relationship but not my financial stuff yet.

Don't be too surprised if you are asked for the documents again when you are closer to the interview. On the economical side, if you are paying him/ her by the hour and they charge for handinling the financial papers, you might be charged again when they ask for next month's paperwork. I had a lawyer once who constantly asked for information and each time I gave the information I was charged while they handled the paperwork even if I submitted the same thing 5 times already.

The longer it takes to introduce yourself the less you've actually accomplished

Don't be too surprised if you are asked for the documents again when you are closer to the interview. On the economical side, if you are paying him/ her by the hour and they charge for handinling the financial papers, you might be charged again when they ask for next month's paperwork. The interviewers at embassy wants a clear picture of your finances and the closer your bank statements are to the interview they will get a clear pic. Your lawyers may just want to get your stuff together and set it aside cause he is working on other people's petitions....and it may pass at interview but why not wait till at least next month to get it? Im going to get mine at end of feb or first week of march.

Everyone is right get the financial documents and bank letters as close to your interview date as possible you will always want to be on the safe side and you don't want the CO to say come back when you have more recent documents.

so give me an extament of how far

are when becuz i have to get before i go to lagos and lawyer wants to do soon as he gets packet but interview may be like a month or away
