Hello, yeah i am a december filers i sent mine last december 13 and they received it december 16 and i will be having an interview schedule this coming february 28.

hi.. i sent my petition last nov. 30 but it was received in the chicago lock box by dec 3 so that makes me a december filer

Sounds like you're a December filer, although it really doesn't matter, USCIS won't designate you that way. It's just a VJ thing.

Hi we filed our papers last year of November 26 and haven't received our NOA1 until now. However, I was able to signed up in USCIS website and check the status of our application coz we got our case/receipt number from the back of my fiance's personal check. We called USCIS several times coz according to their website they already sent out the notice... last update was December 26, 2007. According to our lawyer we probably gonna get our NOA2 by March... my fiance is planning to visit me for the second time in the same month. Oh before I forgot we our under CSC. Hope to get my visa before August so I can be with my baby on his birthday.

When you log into your account on the USCIS.com website you will see a "Last Updated" date.

If that date changes, then you were "touched" meaning someone moved your file, looked at it, did something to it.

Yes you have been touched. It seems to happen frequently about 2-3 weeks in. You are probably in a crate now waiting for some real attention . Which may be months off.

did you register already or make an account ?u have to do that first to see the last updatd date,i jus did that a while a ago,and anytime i can i log in,they my case too dec. 18
