Ok, was all prepared to get the NOA1 and have it say, like everyone had been saying, that our app to TSC had been forwarded to CSC but when we got it today it said that it was being processed in Vermont. Has CSC stopped taking the transfers and now they're going to EAC across the board or what? Is Vermont a good thing? I mean, I know it's inevitably better than it staying at TSC (as always, this I even remember back from our K1!), but is EAC better than CSC at this point?

We sent it several days before Christmas. Says they received it 12/26 and the date on the NOA1 is 1/8/08.

From what I read on this board, VSC seems to process I751s in about 6-7 months, which is of course not as fast as CSC, but way better than being stuck at TSC.

8/28/08 -------> Called USCIS was told biometrics scheduled for Sept 12 @ 3 pm

Seems like more and more TSC applications are now moving north to the EAC rather than WAC!

First time that I can recall something like this happening!

Ya gotta wonder if VSC will be able to stick to its 6-month timeframe if they are all of a sudden handling a deluge of transfers from TSC.
