Lore... I see we are practically neighbors.... We're up in Ft. Lauderdale

We were one of the unlucky ones to get drilled and questioned by the older guy in glasses behind closed doors.

We were both interviewed separately.

If you guys know each other well, then you should not have any problems.

We were asked where and how we met, where/when did I propose, where did I buy the ring. How many times had I travelled to Peru before and why. What work we both did, the positions we held and the monies we make. Wanted to know if my Fiance had ever applied for a tourist visa. He wanted to know about both our families. Wanted to know what we did on weekends and our free time which lead him to even ask what kind of boat I own to both of us. The questions he asked that really got me angry was when we first kissed and when we were first intimate with each other.

There are other couples who have had less questions asked and had a very simple easy interview.

Best of luck

OMG!! That was awful!!!! I would faint if I have to answer that kind of questions... there are far too personal to be asked... what a nerve!!!

I really hope that we won't be interview by that guy... those kind of things really make me mad.. and I wouldn't like to get into a verbal fight with the person in charge of my future...

I'm glad everything worked out fine for you guys!!!!

Thank you so much for your feedback!

lore, you dont need to be nervous, sometimes you just get approved at the window so you dont need to deal with the old man. We were lucky, we had an easy interview, they just asked some few questions: Where did we meet? when? Where did we get engaged? Have you ever been in the States before? and for how long? and when we will get married?. That was it. I know how your feeling now, we were so nervous too, we couldnt sleep the day before our interview and then the interview lasted less than hour :P. Just be positive, im sure everything will be ok. I wish you a lot of luck in your interview. If you have any question, dont hesitate to ask me.

Don't be nervous 'Cause if you are nervous they will sense it.

I with went with my hubby almost 2 years ago and to be honest I didn't see the guy with glasses. An old nice lady from interviewed us and she ask simple questions, it's funny 'cause we brought a big bag full of e.mails, cards, photo albums, our wedding dvd but she only ask for two so we showed her one of our wedding pic with both families in the church and the other one of our Honey Moon. Then she ask how did we meet??? when??? If I ever applied to a Visa (no)how many have Sil visited me??? and she was in shock when Sil told her that she visited Peru 11 times. That's it, after she gave me a pink paper and told me that my Visa was approved . The famous interview lasted less than 10 minutes.

One week later I left my country..... snif, snif.

the old man w/glasses?? lol i didnt see any that day.

i remember my interview was easy because i was sure of my answers even though the woman (window 10) was a little annoying but it was good. some of my questions i remember were How i met him? how many times he was in Peru? how many days he stay? if his family knew about us? when we planned to marry? what did i do? i think was all but she asked me the same question in differents ways about the time he was in Peru.

good luck.

An advice Dont be nervous
