Good Morning,

I am just so frustratred with the NVC today.......I called them the 1st week of January to make sure when they were scheduling for February......The lady told me the 2nd full week of Janaury which would be this week.......I called this morning......And another lady told me that they started scheduling last week and are finishing up this week.......Our case was completed on December 13 and I thought for sure we would get a February interview date........I have had an inquiry made on our case by my Congresswoman's office......We will see if that helps any.......It will be a year in March and I am so ready for my husband to get to come home......

Peace & Love,

Tonya

My advice is to relax. It is a long, frustrating process and there is little you can do but go with it.

Good luck on your journey.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

Hi Forbes,

I understand your frustration!! Although K-1's seem to have a speedier (sp?) process as far as getting the visa in hand and getting your SO here. Please look at the big picture! I sincerely believe if I had to do it again...I would go CR1/IR1 track...only because it may take longer to get your SO here...but once they are are...the CRAZY  run around K1'ers have CR/IR1's do not!! They will have an SSN, auth to work, and green card relatively quickly after they arrive

Just continue to tell yourself...'This too shall pass!" You can also feel free to PM 'Mrs. Scott'. She went the CR/IR track and can answer all of your questions. She's a sweetheart and I know she wouldn't mind you asking her ANY question about the process!

Good luck to you both and please take it easy on yourself!

Bless-ed,

Gill

Now, see, if I had to do it all over again, I would stay with the K1. But, ours was a relatively smooth quick journey. I suppose if I had problems, I might've had a different answer.
