I made my weekly call to NVC to request an update on my status and they told me that I am out of AP today and my case was sent to the embassy in Ghana!!

I screamed and then dropped to my knees to thank God for working a miracle in my life. I'm soooooooooo happy!!

:dance:^_^:dance::dancing:

Six weeks. Someone said 4-6 weeks and they were right on! Thank God!!

Now I just have to figure out how to make the DHL trick work. Probably it wasn't really mailed today, even though that's what they told me. I tried searching but it didn't work. I'll try again next week.

Whoo Hoo!! It's a great start to the weekend! Who cares about a blizzard!! :dancing::dance::lol:

Called USCIS 4/1/2009 told no status change and case not yet reviewed from RFE request.

Thanks everyone for your well wishes. I did call Bassi. I told him first then I came on here to tell my VJ family. You guys listen to me complain so you also get to see me do my happy dance!! Aren't you lucky? :lol:

I'm just so thrilled that this is finally moving on. I know now it's another wait, but I am just happy to have some movement and feel better about being out of AP.

Should be the next few weeks according to them... that your hubby receives his letter to come pick up the package... but by "few weeks" they mean something different in ghana than my own understanding of the term. ;)

But anyway, great news!!! Hope the next process speeds by for you!!!!! :thumbs:
