Was the mother beaten too? I am trying to get why she thought it would be a good idea to stay with a man who would beat the ###### out of their own child for months. She wasn't charged, I am curious to know what her role in all of this was.

Anyway, that is really messed up. Poor kid.

From what I gathered on the news, the mother stated that he threatened to take the son and leave if she was to attempt to get authorities involved. Doesn't make any sense to me as she should have taken both kids and turn this ####### in when he was first abusing the poor baby.

Exactly !! Most mothers I know would lay down their lives for their children and do anything to protect them. She would have known that if she had called the authorities, the father, ie monster, would have been denied access to any of the children once they had seen the horrible injuries he had inflicted on his daughter. How will she explain to her son later in life that she allowed his baby sister to die because she didnt call the Police? I hope she doesn't have any more children - she clearly cannot care for them. As for the monster, misery, pain and torment for the rest of his miserable life, and immediate entry to hell in the next, is guaranteed.
