I am 5'7" and hubby is 5'8"

My mom and sister are both short, and I laughed when reading those who said the 1/2 inch is very important to them...whoever it was that said 5' 2 &1/2", my mom is that height and also loves to add the 1/2 inch. My sis is only 5'. I am the giant woman in the family. :P

Ha, yeah, I'm just slightly under 5'5" and my mom is exactly 5'5" and we're the tallest women in the family except for one 6' cousin.

Something I don't like is that you can wear the same size clothing as someone, yet weigh tons more than them b/c you are taller! It's not fair. :(:P But then they are jealous I can reach things in the upper cabinets.

Short women have an inferiority complex and always want super-tall guys (like 6'2" or taller).

That's totally my best friend. 5'2" and always with big muscular shaved-head guys over 6'. But it's not an inferiority complex. 1. The men make the small women look even smaller, and 2. being a small woman is valued in this country.
