My fiance has a 21 year old daughter. At this time, there are no plans for her to immigrate to the U.S. The I-129F asks for children and doesn't specify age or whether or not they plan to come with the parent. I suppose that I should list her daughter on the I-129F. The fact that there will be no G-325A for the daughter and the fact that she is 21, I suppose, should be the clues to the USCIS that she is not coming.

I would be interested in hearing about anyone's experience with this issue. Thanks!

Yep, as the instructions say, list ALL children whether they intend to immigrate or not.

Best of luck to you!

Before being issued my K-1 visa in Vancouver, all paperwork I filled out, I had to put my two children on it, if I was asked. Their ages were 23 and 20. All correspondence I received from the US government, always contained my son's name , who wasn't going to come, nor follow me to the US. When I went for my interview at the Consulate, they asked about my son, and I told them he wasn't coming with me, and they had me sign a paper saying he was not coming with me...

Of note is my daughter's name (she was the 23 year old) never appeared on any paperwork they sent me...only my son's name.

Thank you very much for the replies mox, Lona, and Carla! It's always reassuring to hear from someone who has already been there and done that. Thanks again!

I should say that (for better or worse) I've already been through this process. But, now I'm happily beginning it again, and the 21 year old daughter is a new wrinkle for me.
