More than 2 monthd after I submitted the required Medical RFE docs, I got another letter asking for a properly completed I-693 because, "the I-693 submitted does not show evidence of the requires Chest xray report and/or tuberculin test."

I don't know what other evidence they need because I had an xray and a narrative "xray report" from the doctor. Could there be any form of xray reports? Are there any other possible evidence for chest xray reports? I'm going back to the doctor... hope she does the right thing this time...

I can't wait to get over this AOS procedure... It's been a long time...

GOod luck to all the rest who are still in the process, like me.

The civil surgeon we went to tried to charge for another xray so I showed them the one from St. Lukes. I forgot that they did give Claudeth a TB test too.

Sometimes you can find doctors through the health department that are VERY experienced with INS medicals. You might do well to find one of them and ask some questions. Good luck and hang in there. I know it FEELS like it, but it won't last forever. (F)

David & Erin [br]5962a06.jpg.png

11/10/2002- Met in person for the first time at Buffalo International Airport we spend a blissful but all too short week together.

2/23/03- David proposes on the beach in Melbourne Florida at sunrise during his second visit.

9/26/03- After much talk with USCIS we decide to go ahead and get married during David's third visit, with David planning on returning to Ireland the following week.

9/30/03- Phone USCIS to ask questions on filling out paper work and USCIS officer informs us that if David is already here he doesn't need to leave. After numerous calls to the Irish Embassy and two more calls to USCIS to confirm, we decide he will stay.

12/02/03- Petition for AOS recieved

10/8/04- EAD FINALLY arrives

11/10/2004- Our Son Colin Michael Kieran born two years to the minute after our first face to face meeting!

I know this must be frustrating.

Somebody has screwed up and it is not you. It is either the civil surgeon or the USCIS. Most likely, it is the USCIS. Very often folks have to clear RFE's for things they have already sent.

It sounds like you have already made arrangement to see the civil surgeon again. That is about all you can do on this. If the civil surgeon filled all of the forms properly the first time then I would send a copy of everything to the USCIS again. Check yourself that the form clearlt says that you have had the X rays and tuberculin test.

The folks at the USCIS must be extremely disorganised. They seem to lose things regularly.

With the amount of paperwork that they receive, it's not surprising that unfortunately things can get lost in the loop. I would like to advise that you talk to the civil surgeon you went to and see if they have a copy of your files on hand. If not, then perhaps see if they can handle the RFE for you and perhaps at reduced cost? You should check the form for completeness and hopefully that can help. :)

Why not just send them what you sent them originally if it already had what they are asking for??

Sounds to me they lost it or something.

I finally got rid of the never ending money drain. I called the plumber, and got the problem fixed. I wish her the best.

Thanks, you all, for the replies.

I will check with the CS again, and since I don't have a copy of the I-693, will try to check from her file, if it was indeed, incomplete.

I was unable to do so today. Be back to the CS Monday. ANd, yes, I think it's a good idea to ask questions from the local health department regarding this "evidence".

I'm still thankful I wasn't denied right away, as some officer might have done, whether or not it's the applicant's fault... AT least, i have a reason to smile after almost 3 months of wondering what happened to my application.
