"No woman is illegal," Clinton said, to cheers.

No. Only people who willing enter a sovereign nation for their own gain.

And people actually support this person.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

Ridiculous indeed. In the context of a rally I'm sure it sounded impressive but at the same time it says absolutely nothing.

You are hereby found guilty of being an "illegal" woman. The sentence: Death. To be carried out tonight at 6.

Silly, but I couldn't resist.

I don't get the point of the statement, no woman is illegal. It's pointless. Politicians...

I don't think it's pointless at all. It's a reminder that the people who are here without proper documentation are PEOPLE, not horrible evil monsters with the sole intent of draining public resources, having lots of babies, and stealing everybody's jobs. Calling a person "illegal", and reserving that term exclusively for illegal immigrants, is extremely biased and meant only to dehumanize them.

Why aren't we calling everyone who's in jail "illegal"? Most of them did things that are in my opinion much more harmful to our country.

Right so their presence is not illegal. But they are criminals and we do call them that.

It sounds like your suggesting that their actions are simply a misunderstanding. What right do these individuals have to jump the line? Why should good people in other nations have to wait years, if ever, to migrate while these individuals simply jump the border as they see fit? What right do these individuals have to take any job that a disadvantaged American could be doing? What right do they have to utilize government services they do not pay for while other Americans have to wait in line or are not given the same services?

Why aren't we calling everyone who's in jail "illegal"? Most of them did things that are in my opinion much more harmful to our country.

Every time I hear something along these lines I just want to break something. Because what you are suggesting is the equivalent of someone stealing from a business and then expecting them to give them a job. Someone who does not have the decency or respect to follow a nation's laws or respect their sovereignty, at the first point of contact, should not be given a get-out-of-jail free card. On another note, what do you have to say for all of thousand of Americans who are victims of crime or murdered by illegal immigrants. Or is this simply a case of collateral damage.

Conversely what would you have to say about the problem here in NY of hispanic illegals being targetted, assaulted and robbed by black gang members in certain neighbourhoods in the Brooklyn and the Bronx?

Is this some sort of poetic justice for not following the rules in the first place - or is it simply despicable and should be universally condemned... regardless of who the victim is?

Why don't we call people who are here illegally criminals then? Why do we reserve this dehumanization for people who are breaking the immigration laws?
