Woo hoo! The NOA for my husband's lifting of conditions arrived in the mail today! It only took a month. We are happy to know the petition wasn't gathering dust in the TSC mailroom. It just must have been forwarded by pony express to VSC. We don't care. We are relievd to know they have it, to have the extension on his greencard, and to just sit around and wait.

Oh I hope it doesn't last long! Stomach flus are the absolute worst!!!!

Did you ever see if you could work 10 hour days to get one extra one off? Glad she likes her nanny. :)

I am back fulll time and because I took the full 12 weeks FMLA I had to use all my vacation time so I dont have ANY time off again until my anniversary date in June. Its gonna be a LONG 6 months. I guess Daddy is going to be doing all the doctors appointments and stuff. wow.

Funny story: I thought I didnt have to come back until NEXT Monday until my boss emailed me tuesday afternoon and said I needed to be back Wednesday. well my son had stayed home from school Monday and Tuesday with the stomach flu but by tuesday afternoon he seemed fine. SO wednesday morning I get us all out the door, get into work and of course straight into some of the seemingly eternal meetings we have around here, and at about 10 I started feeling really weird. Clammy, sweaty, dizzy. I stood up to leave the conference room and had that overwhelming feeling I was going to throw up. I had to RUN down the hall to the kitchen (closest room available) and proceeded to WILDLY vomit into the trash can. yes, I got the flu and so my first day returning to work after 3 months lasted exactly 3 hours. it was actually pretty funny. Spent that whole afternoon in misery but was fine the next day and here I am!

Baby is doing fine and seems happy with her new nanny - so far, so good.

JESS: good luck and safe travels to you, welcome back!

Friday night at my desk...pushing papers around. I have the WHOLE weekend off :)

Tommorrow is shaping up to be interesting. Pick up Alexis, laundry, oil change, and take Princessa to the vet for a checkup. I'm sure in this time she will say 'Grammy, I'm hungry. How 'bout we go to the buffet?'

Dream about me! Dream about me! AOS Approval please! ;)

What a long day. I am looking forward to relaxing, but that won't be for about another week or so. One more day of packing then off to Miami. That will be a fun 12 hours. Off to relax a bit for then night and then to bed so I can do it all over again tomorrow.
