Hi everyone,

I'm french from Paris, met my love in Paris in November 2006. After that long time traveling (not enough), chatting online and talking at phone. We decided as i went to Chicago for Christmas to get married as soon as i will be able to come forever in US.

So we will start the K1 & K2 process for me and my daughter in the following days.

I have a question about the Divorce Decree.

I already have an very old (6 year old) official copy of my divorce decree from the Brussels court where i divorced. Do you think that its better to ask the court to have a recent one?

About K2, do we have to send any specific papers for my daughter with the petition or filling the field in the I-129F will be efficient?

PS: Sorry for my bad english , i try to do my best

Lot of Kisses

Unless your divorce decree is not legible I don't think you need to get another one issued.

Just my opinion.

As long as you have the "official" decree is does not matter when it came into your possesion..

Children only need be listed on the initial petition.... separate visa application will be made later

YMMV

Yah, I agree. Doesn't matter how old it is, as long as you can read it.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip
