Hello Guys..im here again to ask few question..

okay i just have recieved a letter from USCIS actually Interview letter for my AOS..and they were telling me what to bring and stuff..

here is my question..

1. How come they did not crossed out any box in their letter stating and telling me what to bring?

2. do i have to bring all the documents and evidence even if they did not crossed it out?

3. and for original document like Federal Income tax returns and W2's do i have to submit original?or show them a copies from the revenue tax and my sponsor and co-sponsors employer?

anyone have/Had the same problem with me..or is it better for me to go there in USCIS near my place personally to discuss my problem?

Everybody receives the same invitation letter when having the AOS interview.

Why would they cross/mark any of the boxes on the letter? It is a check list for you (it says so on it) to better state what you need to bring because they might actually ask you for all the documents they listed on the letter.

So bring everything that's on the list that you haven't submitted already. If you submitted copies - bring the original documents!

When I had my interview I took everything with me, all documents they asked for on the list (unless, like I wrote above, already submitted, the medical for example) and the originals of all copies I ever submitted to USCIS.

That means yes, I brought the originals of the tax documents and supporting documents like pay stubs I sent in with the AOS package (and they looked at it, but did not keep them, of course), the original marriage certificate, passport, I-94, the original I-129F petition approval etc.

Also make sure you bring enough evidence of a bonafide marriage, again, original documents.
