but made the mistake of filing to NSC, hopefully won't cause much of a delay.

Hey Everyone,

I am a new member to this site. My husband just mailed our I-130 on January 30, 2008. Now we wait.

2008-01-30: I-130 Sent

2008-02-15: I-130 NOA1

2008-06-16: I-130 Approved (NOA2...still haven't received hard copy)

2008-06-26: NVC Received

2008-07-01: DS-3032 sent AOS Bill Generated

2008-07-02: Emailed DS-3032

2008-07-07: Received hard copy of NOA2

2008-07-10: Emailed NVC to Change Petitioner Address

2008-07-16: Received email from NVC, accept Choice of Agent

2008-07-??: Called NVC and got IIN number (still trying to get through to an agent!)

2008-07-??: PAID AOS Fee Online and IN PROCESS

hi,

i really don't know what route to go at this point. but since we filed the i-130 first, i'm guessing we are already going with CR-1/IR-1 (all k3 filers are). but i'm also going to file 129F once we get our NOA1. then it's whatever gets approved first. Just wondering if thats going to be a problem? i don't think it wld hurt to file the 129F as well (just more money)?

Hi please add me to the Thead I filled I-130 and it was rec in Chicago by UPS mail on 16 January 2008

rec by V.Bustmane ...my name is yoda1165 ..Im doing the K-3 and wish all of us well....

The month is still young,but I thought I would create a January I-130 thread where we can give each other support, chart our progress, etc.

I just sent my I-130 today by Express Mail.

Any other January filers? Stand up and be counted!!! :dance:

Chalk me in for about 1/7/08. Not sure on the exact date, but my attorney sent ours in the week before that and received delivery confirmation within a few days.

Anyone received their NOA1 yet? Or check being cashed???

My husband and I are getting really impatient (or at least I am). Been asking him to check the mail box and online bank account everyday to see whether the NOA1 is here or the check being cancelled. :P

On this link, I see that as of 2/1, Chicago had "completed initial data entry and issued receipt notices" for I-130 petitions received up to 12/27:

Does this mean that in theory, if they got your I-130 in the mail on 12/27 you should be receiving your NOA1 shortly?
