Thank you all for the kinds words and support! I am on to the next process at NVC, but even if I had my husband's visa in my hand it just would not be really as nice unless everyone else was also there. This is painful for everyone and it's hard to move forward with one's life until the families are together. I wish us all to move through this process more quickly. Something told me to check my email on the way to work (at a stoplight) and when i saw the email i immediately called my husband. The news lifted us both up and for the first time in a long time I felt like I had a good day.

How many January peeps have been touched? I have had no touches since my app was placed in the system, hope I'm not alone. If I'm going to get an RFE for my name issue or the wrong size passport photo I sure hope it's within the next 2 months or I won't be here to deal with it... It would be especially frustrating if it were for my name issue since the only way I could fix it would be to go to the government office in KTM with my name change court order and beg them to change my name on the marriage certificate - there's nothing I can do about it here.
