Well, in both IA and NH, Obama won among independents and Hillary won among registered Democrats. Any Dem candidate that has that kind of pull among independents is a threat to a GOP candidate that does not.

Yep. I'm of the opinion that a Hillary win means the Dems are screwed, as all those independents will be voting for McCain (unless it's not him, and then who knows). An Obama win might mean the opposite.

I don't know many Repubs who hate McCain, but then again I don't go around talking politics very much or know many very politically involved people. But I still don't understand why you'd want to vote for Hillary instead. Oh how many years we would have to hear about how great Bill's presidency was and how she is back to reclaim all that was lost, to put the name of Clinton back into it's rightful place, bla bla bla... It's time for the Bush and Clinton dynasties to move on.
